HANDICAP SYSTEM

Handicap for members in the New Mexico Senior Golf Association are established in accordance with U.S.G.A. Standards except as modified below:

1. •                1. In your first tournament with the organization your GHIN Hdcp will be used. If you do not have a GHIN or a club       handicap one will be assigned to you by the handicap chairman.
   

2. •                2. In your second tournament your handicap will be :A your established handicap as # 1 above or, B. handicap based on your first tournament score adjusted for equitable stroke control ESC whichever is lower.
   

                          3.  In your 3rd tournament your Hdcp will be: Your handicap established in accordance with #1 above or, A. based on   

                      your first tournament score adjusted for ESC or your second tournament adjusted for ESC whichever is lower.

                           4. In your fourth tournament it will be based on the lowest of your previous scores.

                           5. In tour fifth and sixth tournament it will be based on your lowest two previous scores.

                           6. In your seventh and eigth it will be based on you three lowest scores.

                           7. In your ninth and tenth tournaments it will be based on your four lowest scores.

                           8. In all suceeding tournaments it will be based on your five lowest scores from your ten latest scores.

          All tournament scores are adjusted for Equitable Stroke Control (ESC) as prescribed by U.S.G.A. Rules and Regulations.

           At the end of each calendar year the handicap file shall be revised to exclude all scores older than two (2) years.
