NEW MEXICO SENIOR GOLF ASSOCIATION NEW MEMBER TIPS

 

 

 

 

Welcome New Member,

 

The following are some tips on making your membership in the New Mexico Senior Golf Association a more enjoyable experience:.

 

 

1. A newsletter is sent out monthly starting in March. Entries for the upcoming tournaments will be included.

 

2. All tournaments are filled on a first-come basis, so if you really want to play in a specific tournament, send your entry back as soon as possible.

 

3. When entering more than one tournament, you must send one check and one entry form for each tournament. (made out to NMSGA).

 

4. Please do not staple or tape tournament entries…paper clips are OK.

 

5. Cancellations for a tournament will be accepted 48 hours before the tournament is to start.  We will try to accommodate later cancellations. This will depend on whether the golf course charges the NMSGA for your entry. Your check will be destroyed, not returned.

 

6. Tournament no-shows will not be refunded their entry fee.

 

7. Tournament entries are not confirmed. Your request for either AM or PM shotgun start  will be honored unless the tournament committee notifies you by telephone.

If the tournament is started by tee times, we will get as close as possible to your requested time. You must call the golf course to get your actual assigned tee time.
